Events in school always gets me so excited, there are always fun, unexpected and spectacular happenings that can get me going through the day. My very first experience of Liceolympics was very fun and enjoyable. There are many activities that the students can join to. Exciting Competition between the different houses. Many food stalls all over the school. There are events wherever you go. You can hear the student’s cheers from one place to another, cheering for their respective houses. Even though I never got to join any of the activities, I was able to enjoy the whole week watching the different events.
At the end of the Liceolympics, the house of Rheims were held as the victor and they were able to receive the house cup. It was obvious from the first day that they will be able to surpass all of the houses. Followed by the house of Parmenie, Paris and lastly the house of Rouen. Though our house was not the victor, we humbly accepted the results because it is what it is. The participants showcased their different skills and abilities with all their might. Everyone were proud of each of the houses for what they have showcased to all.
Liceolympics is actually a very nice activity to engage yourself with because it brings out the inner sporty self of everyone. It brought out the different talents and that the students possess. It builds confidence within each student. It enhances our skills and understanding to certain sports that we are not passionate about. It proved that there is sportsmanship between all the students. Because of Liceolympics, Liceo students were able to show that even though we are divided in different houses, we are all standing as one. Through this event, the unity and bond of the Liceo students strengthened.
